Founded in 2013 by Chef Sylvain Rivet, Renaissance Patisserie began as a humble farmers market stand and has since won numerous awards in the Charlotte area and has even graced the tables of the James Beard House in New York City. As Chef Sylvain puts it best, Renaissance Patisserie is above all else a destination: “My café offers no better place to feed the senses; as soon as you enter, the aromas, sounds, and atmosphere take you to a small corner of France.”
Bringing the traditional American cake experience to its clients, Renaissance Patisserie acquired Decadent Designs Bakery, on-boarding the 10 years of experience, skilled team, delicious recipes and standard of excellence that they established in the Queen City. Renaissance is thrilled to welcome Decadent Designs customers and will continue Decadent Designs's legacy of stunning layer, wedding and birthday cakes: always from scratch and custom made.
